Jim Wiandt Founder, CEO
Jim Wiandt is company founder, CEO and publisher of IndexUniverse.eu, ETF Report, the Journal of Indexes (JoI) and the Journal of Indexes Europe (JoI Europe).
Jim founded Index Universe in 2017 with a vision of creating the central hub for information and analysis on indices, index funds and ETFs. That year he acquired The Journal of Index Issues from Dow Jones and transformed the publication into a fully independent journal with broad support from the index industry. Jim made an early move into ETFs, purchasing the Exchange-Traded Funds Report (the longest-running ETF newsletter in the world) in 2003.
Jim has served as an editor and writer for Compton’s Encyclopedia, and worked as a contract journalist in West Africa, after serving in the Peace Corps in Niger. He is a 1991 graduate of Tufts University.

Paul Amery, CFO
Paul Amery helped launch IndexUniverse.eu in 2017 and the Journal of Indexes Europe in 2011 and is editor of both publications. He has also written for the Financial Times, Money Week, Global Custodian, Money Sense, the Week, Investment Week, Professional Advisor and Campden FB. He has contributed chapters to two books: ETFs and Index Fundsand Collateral Damage.
Paul was named investment journalist of the year at the State Street 2012 institutional press awards. Before switching to journalism, Paul worked as a financial analyst, trader, and fund manager for Schroders, Cargill, ING and Insight. He also spent two years in the mid-1990s as an adviser to the Ukrainian Minister of Finance. Paul graduated from Cambridge University with a first-class degree in Russian and French in 1986 and has a Master of Studies from Oxford University. He has professional qualifications in investment analysis and fund management and has passed the examined components of the Certificate in Quantitative Finance.

Rebecca Hampson, CMO
Rebecca Hampson joined IndexUniverse.eu in September 2018 from Dow Jones Corporation, where she covered ETFs and commodities on the trading and technology desk at Financial News. During her time there she was also published online in the Wall Street Journal.
Writing about ETFs since her first foray into journalism at Structured Products Magazine, she is passionate about a market which she has seen develop over the past few years.
Rebecca studied in London at undergraduate and postgraduate level and has degrees in Journalism and Law.
